First of all, I would like to thank everyone for stopping by my new website. It’s been a while since I’ve had a site and I feel like I’m learning everything all over again, tech-wise. I’ll be fumbling around this for a while and when I figure it out…it’ll change. Such is the way of things.
Second, I’d like to say how excited I am to start this new chapter in my life as well as in my books. Heh. Chapter. See what I did there? Anyway…I’ve had a few books languishing online without much attention at all being paid to them. Part of that is my fault, since I went through a lot of personal stuff that forced me to put writing on the back burner and focus on the real world for a while. I’m back now and happy to leave the real world behind!
I’ve also had a few projects languishing on my flash drive that I never got to finish. There’s the next Gillis Ledgers book, as well as two brand new projects. One of them is what greeted you at the top of this page. I’ve always had a thing for Steampunk and alternate history. I love to play around with new versions of our world, starting with why they made that shift from what we know to the newer, more fantastical version. Purveyor of Miracles is the first project along those lines and it’s a little bit of everything I love. Part western, part sci-fi, part adventure, part buddy cop movie. You know…all those awesome things that make publishers say, “And how is this exactly like (insert whatever is popular here)? It’s not? PASS!”
Not only is Purveyor of Miracles something I loved writing, but it’s something I’d love to read. That’s how this whole thing started. I’ve got other projects coming and more lines are in the water. Some are looking for big time publishers, others I’ll be doing myself. I’ll keep you updated, so feel free to check in often! We’ve got a hell of a ride ahead of us!
